ADEN PROGRAM - ELDER CARE: Tuesday and Thursdays, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and 12 p.m.-2 p.m. in the Land Building | Volunteers are a vital part of the Aden Program! Activities include crafts, games, show and tell, music, lunch, and lots of visiting together.

SUNDAY REFRESHMENTS: The Congregational Life Committee is seeking volunteers to provide refreshments for the congregation after the 10:30 a.m. service on Sundays. Refreshments can be small bites, homemade or store-bought cookies, finger sandwiches, muffins, granola bars, etc. for which the church can reimburse up to $50. We ask that refreshments be delivered, plated and ready to go, to Frampton Fellowship Hall by 10 a.m. on Sunday.

FUNERAL USHER: When families gather at the church for a funeral or memorial service, a kind welcome can make a difficult day easier. We are looking for volunteers to serve as ushers: to greet guests, to help them find their way, and to offer a calm, caring presence. The commitment is usually about two hours. START THE ADVENTURE IN READING (STAIR) is looking for reading tutors for second and third graders in the Greater New Orleans Area. STAIR offers virtual and in-person tutoring options over 10 weeks during the fall and spring semesters. All curriculum and training for tutors are provided.

SUNDAY WORSHIP: Assist in the 10:30 Sunday morning worship services by serving as an usher, lay liturgist, or children's message presenter. Contact Pierce Young for details.

TEACH SUNDAY SCHOOL: Do you love children and want to see them grow in their faith? Join one of our Sunday School Volunteer teams! No experience is needed. We have three age groups from 3 year-olds through 3rd grade. This is a minimum time commitment and all supplies will be gathered for you. Volunteer 3 – 5 times per semester.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT OUT KITCHEN KREWE: No kitchen experience required! We are looking for help mostly on Wednesday afternoons preparing supper for 80-100 WNO guests each week. If you have any interest in joining the krewe, please email Chef Matt at mcmccann55@gmail.com.

FLOWER OUTREACH MINISTRY: Monday mornings from 9 a.m. -11 a.m. Enjoy a pleasurable and easy morning assembling and/or delivering flowers that will bring joy to those in our congregation who are in need. No experience necessary!

RHINO DISASTER RESPONSE TEAM: Be a part of our church’s disaster response ministry! Learn more about recovery efforts in our local community as well as others across the country in the aftermath of natural disasters. Contact Harriet Riley for information.

MEAL TRAIN: Prepare meals for those in our church community in times of particular need (illness, surgeries, baby arrivals, etc.). Contact Mary Lou O'Keefe (click here) to be added to the Meal Train distribution list.

MUSICANS FOR BLESSINGS OF THE BACKPACKS AT OKRA ABBEY: The Worship and Music committee is looking for people of all ages who are musically gifted and would like to join in a music fest at Okra Abbey for the Blessing of the Backpacks! Date and details TBA.
