Volunteering at SCAPC

Churches come into being and grow to usefulness by the vision, faith, and generosity of those who really love Christ and invest their talents, time, and treasure to his ongoing Kingdom. -Dr. John S. Land, Senior Pastor, 1920-1959

SUNDAY MORNING REFRESHMENTS: The Congregational Life Committee is seeking volunteers to provide refreshments for the congregation after the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. services on Sundays. Refreshments can be small bites, homemade or store-bought cookies, finger sandwiches, muffins, granola bars, etc. for which the church can reimburse up to $50. We ask that refreshments be delivered, plated and ready to go, to Frampton Fellowship Hall by 9:00 a.m. on Sunday.

BE A SUBSTITUTE STAIR TUTOR! Start The Adventure in Reading (STAIR) is a literacy program founded through SCAPC that is dedicated to transforming children's lives through the power of reading. If you would like to volunteer with STAIR, but have limited time for weekly tutoring, we have the option for you to be a Substitute Tutor! With this volunteer position, we will notify you if one of our STAIR Tutors is not able to attend a tutoring session, and you will be able to do the lesson with their student. Experienced tutors and newcomers alike are welcome!
