Hurricane Relief Efforts

If you would like to volunteer with RHINO for one of our service projects (debris clearing, gutting, etc.) please join our master list by filling out this form. Please indicate your skills, experience level, and available time of day. Our projects are developed in response to the needs of effected neighborhoods which are continually assessing damages. As these projects arise, we will email volunteer opportunities to our master list of contacts and invite you to sign up.

We are collecting items for 'cleanup buckets' to send to our neighbors in the surrounding bayou communities who have been significantly impacted by Hurricane Ida. You can purchase items directly from our amazon wish list or bring a complete bucket to the Phifer Library with the following items:

1 — 5-gallon bucket *with resealable lid
4 — scouring pads
7 — sponges, assorted sizes
1 — scrub brush
1 — pkg. cleaning towels (18 reusable, like Easy Wipes®)
1 — 50 oz. or two 25 oz. bottle(s) of liquid laundry detergent
1 — liquid concentrated household cleaner (like Lysol®), 12 oz.
1 — bottle liquid disinfectant dish soap (like Dawn®), 24-28 oz.
1 — 1 pkg. clothespins, 48-50
