Welcome to Presbyterian Women (PW) at St. Charles!
We have been active in this congregation for more than five decades.
As part of the national women’s organization of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), we support the PW mission.
PW is committed to nurturing faith through prayer and Bible study,
to supporting the mission of the church worldwide,
to working for justice and peace, and to building an inclusive, caring community of women
which strengthens the Church and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.
Our central tenants are FAITH, MISSION, and FELLOWSHIP.
Presbyterian Women of the Presbytery of South Louisiana will hold a retreat via Zoom on October 23 from 10:30 a.m.-noon. SCAPC's own Miriam Hollar will lead this meaningful time with a focus on prayer. All women are invited to attend!
In the month of October, Presbyterian Women will continue to support the Living Waters for the World ministry in Cuba. Requested are donations to pay for the “Food for Cuba” program. This funding allows us to place a weekly $200 order of food delivered to El Fuerte Church in Cardenas, Cuba. Please bring or mail to the church your check made out to Presbyterian Women, referencing “Cuba donation".
