PALM SUNDAY, CHOIR & ORCHESTRA

During the 10:30 a.m. service on Palm Sunday, April 2, the SCAPC Chancel Choir and Orchestra will perform Maurice Duruflé's "Requiem" with Steven Blackmon conducting. This beautiful French Impressionist work finds its roots in 8th century Gregorian chant. Duruflé said that, "It reflects, in the immutable form of the Christian prayer, the agony of man faced with the mystery of his ultimate end. It is often dramatic, or filled with resignation, or hope or terror, just as the words of the Scripture themselves." All children will be invited to join in a palm procession at the beginning of the service.

PW EASTER EGG HUNT

The Presbyterian Women's Annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Sunday, April 2 following the 10:30 a.m. service at the home of Louellen and Darryl Berger, 6000 St. Charles Avenue, right across State street. All are welcome!
