The Presbyterian Church (USA) Book of Order states,
"Through the ages and from varied cultures, the Church has developed many forms of congregational song, accompanied by a great array of instruments. We draw from this rich repertoire in the Service of the Lord's Day, singing glory to God."
Thanks to the generous support of congregation members who care deeply about our worship and music ministry, we are able to enhance our Holy Week music to God's glory. These include a Palm Sunday service focused in part on a great choral/orchestral work sung by our Chancel Choir and accompanied by members of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. Music plays a great part in our Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services as well. On Easter Sunday our praises are elevated by the music of a brass quintet along with our Chancel Choir and new Centennial Organ.
