A Note From the Pastor

We are delighted – and honored – that you have chosen to visit our Web site. Welcome! I hope that you will find everything to be helpful.

SCAPC is a dynamic church. We are serving, we are worshiping, we are learning and we are growing. Jesus said that it’s not what’s on the outside of person that is important, but what is on the inside. He taught us to look for a person’s heart, to his or her deepest values and truest affections.

I think this applies to the church, too… in particular for this church – even if we are mighty proud of how we look on the outside! In fact, as you explore this site, I believe, and sincerely hope, that you will discover that we are truly a “church with a heart for mission.” We are doing our best to serve Jesus Christ and to reach out to one another and the world with the good news of his love, grace, forgiveness and salvation.
