“For me, having a home for us and our granddaughter is like an impossible dream. For both of us, we know for sure that God is good and he’s alive.”

–Carolyn Horn (The Hornes moved into their home on Ferry Place in December 2008.)

RHINO

RHINIORebuilding Hope in New Orleans (RHINO) is an outreach ministry of St Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church, founded three weeks after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Senior Pastor Don Frampton and then associate pastor Paul Seelman, along with several dedicated lay people, knew God had a special calling for this body of believers after Katrina wreaked havoc on New Orleans.

We actively work to help New Orleans residents restore their lives both physically and spiritually alongside our partners from across the nation. We welcome volunteers from September through June. Please take a moment to learn more about who we are and what we do by perusing our website. If you have further questions or would like to schedule a trip, please contact RHINO program manager Kate Snider via e-mail or call (504) 897-0101, x111.

Please read our latest newsletter for more information on our progress.
